PROJECT: Westwood Furniture Company
Website Design & RedesignCompleted for a local artisan furniture-maker, this website showcases work to potential customers.
Over the last decade, we have evolved the site to meet the ever-evolving Internet standards. Originally coded in static, table-based HTML in 2003, we the redesigned the site in standard-compliant HTML in 2009. At the end of 2014, we initiated a new project to upgrade the site to a mobile-responsive WordPress platform with full gallery.

Deborah completed my website within budget and within the timeframe she promised. She listened to my requests and acted on them to create the site exactly how I wanted it. I was happy with the project from start to finish and my customers love the end result!
2015 WordPress Upgrade – About Page – Full-Screen View
Although the previous version of the website we designed for Westwood in 2009 (shown in the 2009 section below) served the company well for a number of years, the advent of social media, blogging, and mobile use, prompted owner, Tony Weber, to embark on a website upgrade, which we launched at the beginning of 2015. This new site automatically changes to fit small screens and allows Tony to add new images himself via the WordPress Control Panel.
2009 – Homepage
This standard-compliant website included imbedded slideshows to highlight Tony’s work.
2003 Original Website – Homepage
In 2003, Blue Orchard designed and launched this version for owner Tony Weber. Coded in the “old-fashioned” table-based HTML, it served the company well for a number of years until the evolution of website coding prompted us to replace it with a new version coded in custom standard-compliant HTML.
